About my mosaics
These mosaic windows can be hung in front of your existing window, or on a wall, used outside on the patio or deck, hung as a divider for privacy or for any other setting where you want the beauty of color and light.
My windows are a glass-on-glass mosaic process. I adhere stained glass, gems and glass tiles to the existing glass of antique and recycled windows and then grout. This process makes it possible to hang them outside as well as inside.
Living in Ohio, my mosaic windows are exposed to the elements year round. They usually hang from my deck from spring through fall and then I put them in the shed for the winter. The windows have been sealed with a water sealer and painted with quality exterior paint. All windows come ready to be hung.
About me
Like all art, each piece is created one-step at a time; I create my mosaics one tesserae at a time, piece by piece. My materials include stained glass, tiles, beads and gems. I carefully select each piece of glass for its unique qualities and characteristics. Since glass has a special way of showing off and playing with the light, selecting the right piece can be a challenge. I enjoy every aspect of working with mosaics, from creating the design and choosing the tesserae, to seeing the finished piece.
